Michael Sasaki, noted Bay Area Guitar legend, recently became the new Secretary-Treasurer of Local 424 of the American Federation of Musicians, headquartered in Richmond, California. Michael’s playing career has included stints with such notables as Lydia Pense and Cold Blood, Bill Summers, Norton Buffalo and most recently, Hiroshima. Michael is also a Commissioner of both Richmond’s Art and Cultural Commission and of the Richmond Shimada Friendship Commission.
